A Historic Music Hall

In 1893, four years after Andrew Carnegie dedicated and opened the Braddock Library, a 1,100 seat music hall was built as an addition. Over the decades, the music hall was a central part of the community and hosted musical acts, performances, graduations and community events. When the building was vacant, the music hall suffered from weather damage and vandalism. Consequently, it has not been regularly open to the public for over fifty years!

A Historic Renovation

Braddock Carnegie Library Association embarked on a historic renovation in 2022, with the music hall as the final portion of the building to be completed. Extensive renovations and updates to accommodate modern needs are required for the music hall to resume as a community centerpiece for performing arts, community gatherings, and special events.

Your Place in Our History

With your gift of $500 to the Braddock Carnegie Library Association a commemorative plaque dedicated to you or a loved one will be placed on one of the 478 new chairs that will be installed in our renovated music hall. You can secure your part in the history of this beautiful music hall and building and help secure the future of the Braddock Carnegie Library Association

Seats will be auto-assigned at the beginning of the center section. All orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. We regret that we cannot accommodate exact row or seat requests. A commemorative plaque does not guarantee admission and/or assigned seats to future performances in the Music Hall.
